STAY stands for Short Term Accommodation for Young People. It provides short term accommodation (one night to three weeks) for young people aged 16-19 years old. Church families in the Bolton area open up their homes and provide meals and accommodation for vulnerable young people who have nowhere else to go. This provides a much needed ‘breathing space’ for young people whilst mediation with their family takes place or appropriate longer term accommodation is found. STAY works in partnership with other agencies to provide care and support to young people and their families in Bolton.
