“Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning. You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety” Job 11:17-10

Your gift will bring hope to vulnerable and struggling people in Bolton.

Thank you.

Food Donations

Our food-based projects benefit from the generosity of many schools, churches, organisations and individuals who collect and donate food – both at harvest time and throughout the year. Many public places in Bolton have one of our “Grub Tubs” where people can deposit their food donations. The location of our Grub Tubs can be found here.

If you click here you can see a list of the food items we would ideally like to receive for use in our foodbanks and our Winter Watch cafe. Every single tin makes a difference! You can drop off donations at our office on Salop Street BL2 1DZ. We’re open Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 9am-5pm and Weds 10am-5pm. Or you could get a supermarket to deliver an order to us.

Just providing food is not a long-term solution to helping people who are struggling to get by. So we work with a range of specialist agencies to ensure the right sort of support can be provided alongside the food.

Covid-19 Update

Working closely with our public sector partners, we are currently experiencing increased demand for emergency food – through our Storehouse Foodbank and home deliveries to those who are supported under shielding, social distancing and isolation arrangements. All long-life foodstuffs are being gratefully received at Unit 4 Trinity Retail Park, off Bradford Street, Bolton. BL2 1HY. The unit is currently open to receive donations between 10.00am and 4.00pm each weekday. We are particularly short of tins of pulses, tuna, vegetables, meat-based items, chopped tomatoes and jars of pasta/curry sauce.
