Current Vacancies

Currently we have 5 job vacancies as follows:

RUNA Response Worker     £19,190 p.a. Primarily responsible for responding to children and young people upon their safe return after they have gone missing from home. This is a full-time permanent position. You can view the Job Description here.

RUNA Support Worker     £19,190 p.a. Primarily responsible for supporting children to prevent or minimise further missing incidents. This is a full-time fixed term position (until 21st October 2021). You can view the Job Description here.

Both these positions involve working closely with police officers, each young person’s family and other agencies as appropriate. They will also provide information, advice and guidance in schools and other settings.

Support First Worker   £19,190 p.a. We are looking for someone to provide intensive support to individuals in Bolton who have a range of complex social and lifestyle, mental health and substance misuse issues which are resulting in a high demand for emergency services. The role involves close working with NHS Foundation Trusts, North West Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Police. This is a full-time fixed term position (until 30th June 2021). Food Team Project Worker – Storehouse Pantry    £18,180 p.a. Storehouse Pantry is an evolution of the traditional foodbank which provides more of a shopping experience for struggling households. Working closely with our partners including Bolton at Home, food suppliers, local churches and other community-based organisations, this person will be responsible for coordinating development of the Pantry, including implementation of a new mobile service. The job involves organising the collection and distribution of food and other household consumables to various locations across Bolton. It also involves helping to recruit, support and train Pantry volunteers. This is a full-time permanent position. You can view the Job Description here.

 SWEP Coordinator  £18,180 p.a. We are recruiting someone to co-ordinate Bolton’s Severe Weather Emergency Provision. Our aim is to provide an overnight emergency shelter during extreme weather and to ensure that no-one has to resort to sleeping on the streets. The role involves close working with Bolton’s Homeless Alliance. Partners that make up the Alliance include UOB and Bolton Council. The job also involves supporting the recruitment and training of volunteers required to run the emergency shelter. This is a full-time fixed term position – 12 months initially.
